The Wallet Note application ("App") is developed and maintained by JS Dev ("we", "our"). The App provides personal finance tracking services. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary for the App to function:

  • Account Information: When you log in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from the provider.
  • Financial Data: Incomes, expenses, categories, accounts, tags, budgets, and savings goals that you record in the App — these are stored primarily on your local device (SQLite).
  • Backup Data: When you perform a backup, the data is uploaded to your own Google Drive using the appDataFolder, which is a private space inaccessible by other apps or individuals.
  • Receipt Images: Images you take or select are stored only on your local device.

2. How We Use Information

  • To display your financial data in charts, reports, and insights.
  • To back up and restore data across your devices via Google Drive.
  • To manage Premium rights (In-App Purchases).
  • To send local notifications (daily expense reminders, budget alerts).

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transmit your personal data to third parties. Exceptions:

  • Google: For authentication (Firebase Auth) and backups (Google Drive API).
  • Google Play: For in-app purchases.
  • Error Tracking: We use error tracking services to detect and fix bugs. Only technical data (crash logs) are sent, excluding personal data.

4. Security

  • Data is stored primarily on your device.
  • Google Drive backups use the appDataFolder which is private and encrypted.
  • The app supports PIN code and fingerprint locking.
  • All external communications use HTTPS.

5. Your Rights

  • Delete Data: You can wipe all data from your device at any time from the app settings.
  • Delete Account: You can delete your account and all cloud data from Menu > Delete Account.
  • Export Data: You can export your data as Excel (.xlsx) or PDF at any time.
